Nach 26 Monaten als pflegender Angehöriger seiner Frau – fünf Monate im Doppelzimmer eines Hospizes – gründete er morphineonbananabread.com, ein Ort für radikal ehrliche Care-Arbeit, für liebevollen Schabernack in der Krise und für eine neue Kultur des Miteinanders im Sterben.
Er war zu Gast beim Nachtcafé des SWR´s, im internationalen Podcast GameOn Glio, spricht auf Fachmessen wie der ALTENPFLEGE, vernetzt Aktivist:innen, pflegende Personen und Betroffene und schreibt über das, was zwischen Ohnmacht und Hoffnung liegt. Seine Keynotes verbinden persönliche Erfahrung mit gesellschaftlichem Anspruch.
Kurz gesagt: Er spricht aus, was andere nur denken und trifft damit ins Schwarze und manchmal auch den schwarzen Humor.

Robert Marx talks about what others prefer to stay silent about: death, loss and what remains.
After 26 months as his wife's caregiver, including five months in a shared hospice room, he founded morphineonbananabread.com, a space for radically honest care work, gentle mischief in the midst of crisis, and a new culture of presence while facing death and hardship (in society).
He has appeared on the German late-night talk show Nachtcafé (SWR), the international podcast GameOn Glio, and speaks at professional events and conferences like ALTENPFLEGE, Germany’s leading care fair. He connects activists, caregivers, and those affected and writes about the space between powerlessness and hope. His keynotes combine personal experience with a strong societal message.
In short: He says what others only dare to think and hits right where it matters. Sometimes with dark humour, too.
