Sonst arbeitet SAKO bei einem sozialen Träger für Menschen mit Fluchthintergrund und als Initiatorin von safer*Spaces für den Aufbau [sexpositiver] Communities.
Künstlerisch verbindet Sako in Perfomance-Projekte Neurowissenschaften und Körperarbeit mit dem Fokus auf Spannungen und Widerstände in ihrer körperlichen Manifestation. Aktuell arbeitet SAKO an dem immersiven Projekt „Common Wellness Nexus“ in Kollaboration mit „the Mindmachine“. Aktivistisch bereichert SAKO die feministische Kampagne Sorge ins Parkcenter mit der Vision Sorgenden Städte (und bundesweiter Vernetzung auch in Wien) durch Workshops auf Konferenzen und Festivals, PR-Arbeit und Organisation.
SAKO
SAKO is acupuncturist, somatic practitioner, care-activist and facilitator of events at IKSK, the Berlin institute for sexual culture and body research at Holzmarkt, but also works at the social creative hub Oma Om, in Neukoelln. Sako is also the founder of Project Playground, a collective dedicated to the art of Play.
As facilitator and artist, SAKO creates workshops, performances and experiences within the spectrum of Movement&Play. Their focus lies on shapeshifting ideas and textures of intimacy. As an artist and activist they create interventions of care and urban planning, currently interweaving neuroscience and forms of touch.
They are currently researching on formats linking art and health-care initiatives to create social and feminist platforms for wider accessibility to health knowledge.
