Being there for the Bereaved
with Jessica Zeckert
How do I react when someone close to me loses a loved one? Suddenly the ease with which we met before is gone. This person is now confronted with death - and so am I.
Is it easy for me or does it scare me? Am I speechless and overwhelmed or do I blabber about the grief that now stands between me and this person just to avoid having to endure the silence? Do I actually want to be there, but don't know how?
Together we will explore our very personal attitude, our feelings and our ability to be touched, which makes real encounters possible. Instead of an instruction manual, you will learn how to be present. We combine short theoretical impulses with exercises - enduring silence, reaching out, talking or simply being. Space to try things out with all your senses.
